Your diamond art has been created to be enjoyed for years to come. A little care will help preserve its sparkle, colour and finish.

 

✦ Diamond Art Pictures

 

Keep your artwork away from excessive moisture, prolonged direct sunlight and sources of high heat.

 

Dust can be gently removed using a clean, soft, dry cloth or soft brush. Avoid rubbing or applying pressure to the diamonds.

 

If our Protective Varnish Finish has not been added to your purchase, we recommend displaying your artwork within a glass or clear plastic-fronted frame. This provides additional protection from dust, moisture, accidental marks and everyday contact.

 

Unvarnished diamond art should not be wiped with water or cleaning products.

 

✦ Protective Varnish Finish

 

Where our optional Protective Varnish Finish has been selected, your diamond art receives additional clear protective coats designed to improve durability and resistance to moisture and everyday wear.

 

The finish allows the beauty and sparkle of the diamonds to remain visible while providing an additional layer of protection.

 

For cleaning, gently wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth when required. Avoid abrasive cloths, scouring products, harsh chemicals or vigorous scrubbing.

Our coasters are finished with a protective clear varnish to provide increased resistance to moisture and everyday use.

Important Information & Terms of Care

 

Please read the following information before purchasing from The Art Of Diamonds.

 

Handmade Products

 

Our diamond art pieces are individually handmade. Due to the nature of diamond art, slight variations in positioning, colour, finish and appearance may occur. These are a natural characteristic of a handcrafted product and are not considered faults.

 

Protective Varnish – Pictures

 

A Protective Varnish Finish is available as an optional extra on selected diamond art pictures.

 

If this option is not selected at the time of purchase, we strongly recommend displaying your finished artwork within a suitable glass or clear plastic-fronted frame to provide additional protection.

 

The Art Of Diamonds cannot accept responsibility for damage caused by moisture, cleaning, excessive handling, dust build-up or environmental exposure where the recommended protection and care instructions have not been followed.

 

Water Resistance

 

Where a protective varnish has been applied, this provides additional water resistance and protection but does not make the product completely waterproof.

 

Products should not be submerged in water, left continuously wet or cleaned using harsh chemicals or abrasive products.

 

Any spills or excess moisture should be wiped away promptly with a soft cloth.

 

Coasters

 

Diamond art coasters intended for functional use are supplied with a protective finish.

 

Although this coating provides increased resistance to moisture and everyday use, diamond art remains a handcrafted decorative surface and should be treated with care.

 

Coasters must not be placed in a dishwasher, soaked in water or cleaned using abrasive products.

 

Wear & Damage

 

As with all handcrafted and decorative products, some natural wear may occur over time, particularly on frequently handled items such as coasters.

 

Damage caused by misuse, accidental damage, inappropriate cleaning, excessive heat, prolonged moisture, scratching, picking at the diamonds or failure to follow our care instructions is not considered a manufacturing fault.

 

Colours & Appearance

 

Colours may vary slightly from those displayed on screen due to differences in device settings, lighting and the nature of the individual diamond drills.

 

The appearance and sparkle of diamond art can also change depending on the lighting and viewing angle.

 

Custom & Personalised Artwork

 

Please carefully check all photographs, names, wording and other information supplied for personalised orders.

 

The quality and appearance of a custom diamond art piece is influenced by the quality, resolution, lighting and composition of the original photograph supplied.

 

Once production of a personalised item has begun, changes or cancellations may not be possible.


Delivery & Courier Delays

Any dispatch or delivery dates provided are estimates unless expressly agreed otherwise.

Delivery may occasionally be delayed by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including courier disruption, severe weather, industrial action or other transport issues. The Art Of Diamonds cannot guarantee estimated delivery dates or accept responsibility for delays caused solely by these circumstances.

If your order is delayed or appears to be lost, please contact us and we will work with the courier to investigate and resolve the matter. If your order is required for a particular date, please tell us before purchasing.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights, including your rights concerning late or non-delivery.
